Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the participation of all sections of society is necessary for the coordinated development of the state. The state government will make every effort to increase their participation in the development of the state by making appropriate provisions in the budget for every section of the society, including the suggestions of everyone in preparing the budget.



Voluntary organizations for the Kovid epidemic crisis asked to help the needy:

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was interacting with representatives of optional organizations, civil society, and consumer forums through a video conference from the Chief Minister's residence on Saturday. He said that during the crisis due to the Corona epidemic, the voluntary organizations had fully supported the state government in helping the needy. Various organizations were instrumental in fulfilling our resolve to 'sleep no hunger'. He gave thanks to everyone for this.

The government has taken several steps for the poor and deprived sections:

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot told that in the works related to social protection, the state government has always taken decisions with progressive thinking. Several steps were taken to raise the standard of living of the poor and deprived sections in the state by keeping them at the center. He said that in the year 2020-21, under the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA scheme, 37 crores 19 lakh man-days were created and employment was provided to 70 lakh 93 thousand families in the state. Timely payment to NREGA workers ensured. Rajasthan Rural Livelihood Development Council formed 1 lakh, 84 thousand 994 self-help groups, by January 2021 and 21 lakh 50 thousand rural women were linked to these groups. Also, 13 thousand 465 village organizations and 482 cluster level federations were formed and more than Rs 1805 crore was spent in the project so far. Gehlot said that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), approval for 13 lakh 33 thousand 394 houses has been issued in the year 2020-21 and more than 10 lakh 10 thousand houses have been constructed. The remaining work is in process.

Applications will be made to place suggestions in the upcoming budget:

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that with the preparation of the plans and programs of the state government, civic organizations and NGOs have an important role in their effective implementation. He said that every effort will be made to place valuable and important suggestions delivered about the need for innovation or brand-new plans according to local needs.
