AHMEDABAD: The Director of Primary Education has issued a notice to those who try to mislead parents by spreading false news on social media that children of Std-1 to 8 will be given mass promotions by the government. The person who was introduced to the Department of Education by that person was answered by the Director of Primary Education. Although there is no mention of mass promotion, the parents have been asked to give a notice within 7 days after giving notice for misleading the parents.
Ashish Kanzaria, a resident of Bhopal, had submitted to the Governor that mass promotion should be given to students of Std-1 to 8. In response to which a letter was sent by the office of the Director of Education. In which it was stated that the procedure for giving mass promotion in Std-1 to 8 is done by the state government as per the Right to Education Act. However, after receiving the letter, Ashish misinterpreted it and circulated it on social media saying that mass promotion would be given with the victory of parents.
He has issued a notice to Ashish Kanzaria after the incident came to the notice of the Office of the Director of Primary Education. In which it is stated that the letter sent by the department has been fabricated. Although there was no mention in the letter that mass promotion would be given, the message that mass promotion would be given by the director of primary education and the government was circulating on social media. Thus, he has acted against the policy of the government by misinterpreting and misleading the students and parents of the state.
The department has issued a notice to him in this regard and ordered him to disclose it within seven days. He also said that if no explanation is given within seven days, he does not want to make a representation and legal action will be taken against him.
It may be mentioned here that this is not the first case against Ashish. Recently, Satyamev Jayate had filed an application before the Fees Committee regarding the school fees and he then informed the Fees Committee to withdraw his application and ordered an inquiry by the Fees Committee against him.
